Mirthe chante et joue "La Maison du Lever d'Soleil", une chanson traditionnelle des USA du XIXe siècle : "The House of the Rising Sun". Il s'agit là d'une version qu'on trouve sur l'album Astres & Stries. Elle a été traduite par Rémy Verneuil, en respectant au mieux le sens des paroles d'origine et en l'adaptant au chant en français et aussi en y insérant des rimes. Tout un travail... Mirthe en a fait l'adaptation musicale (guitare et chant) et elle interprète cette chanson avec conviction et grand talent. Cette chanson (disons l'air) est bien connue en France grâce à la version chantée par Johnny, mais vous entendrez que les paroles d'origine sont très différentes... Les incrustations d'images sont faites avec des images d'archives libres de droit et datant du XIXe et début XXe.De belles images nostalgiques, si on veut, et en tous cas, pour certaines, touchantes.
